Starters and that too chicken starters! Whatis the first thing that comes in your mind?
Chilli chicken.
So today I am going to showyou chilli chicken recipe.
It taste good but it is also quick to make.
So let's see how to make, chilli chicken.
First, let's marinate the chicken.
Here I have used 250 grams ofchicken which I have cut into pieces.
Pieces should not be too big or too small.
Next goes in 1 tablespoonof ginger garlic paste.
Next goes in 1 egg.
Then, 1 teaspoon soy sauce.
1 teaspoon vinegar.
1 teaspoon of salt.
2 tablespoon of refined flour.
And 3 tablespoon of corn flour.
Mix all of this together properly.
We need to marinate thisat least for 1/2 an hour.
Because without it the chickenwon't taste that well.
You can also marinatethe chicken over night,
Now let's fry this marinated chicken.
I am using forks, soit is easier to pick up 1 pieces.
Once it gets golden in colour,let's remove it.
Fry the remaining chicken pieces too.
This chicken is also ready, let's remove it.
And now let's prepare for further things.
Chinese cooking is generallydone on high flame.
But we are doing it at home, sothere are chances that food might go bad.
So what I am going to do ismix all the sauce together.
And then add it in together.
To mix the sauces,I will take 1/2 a cup of water.
And into that I will mix other sauces too.
1 teaspoon vinegar.
2 teaspoon, chilli sauce.
2 teaspoon soy sauce.
And 2 teaspoon of tomato ketchup.
Mix all of this together.
And now to this add in1 tablespoon of corn flour.
Mix this well nicely again.
Pan is heated, now to thisI will add 2 tablespoon of oil.
Next goes in the garlic.
This is 2 tablespoon offinely chopped garlic.
1 tablespoon of ginger,this is also finely chopped.
Mix it.
We have to cook all of this on high flame.
Next goes in chillies,around 8 to 10 of it.
And those are not very spicy.
Then add in 1 capsicum.
I have separated the onion petals.
I have taken 1 onion here, add that in.
Next add in 1 teaspoon ofblack pepper powder.
1/2 teaspoon of sugar.
And 1 teaspoon of salt.
Mix it well.
Now add this fried chicken into it.
Mix it once again.
Now the stir the sauce mix nicely.
Because it has corn flour in it andthis corn flour settles at the bottom.
And then add it in.
We don't have to cook it more.
Mix only till the chickenis coated with the sauce.
Here is our chilli chicken ready.
Now garnish it with spring onions.
And now serve this.

Keep it aside to marinate for 1/2 an hour. Heat oil in a pan, add chicken and fry till they are golden. In a bowl, add water, vinegar, chilli sauce, soy sauce, ketchup, mix them well. Add corn flour and mix well. Heat oil in a pan, garlic, ginger, green chillies, capsicum, onion, black pepper powder, sugar, salt, mix them well. Add fried chicken, mix it well again, sauce mixture, mix and see to it that the chicken is nicely coated. Garnish it with spring onion and it is ready to serve.
